Job Title

Technical Rotational Program – Yanfeng

This is an entry level position as part of a development rotational program for recent graduates. Participants rotate through at least 2, up to 4 positions in different areas of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.

• Training and development across multiple manufacturing disciplines.
• Mentorship from senior engineers.
• Plant tours and exposure to various YF manufacturing sites.
• Individual Development Plans (IDPs) coordinated with the XRP committee and mentor.
• Networking opportunities with cross‑functional teams and upper management.
• Soft‑skill development and training (communication, active listening, presentation practice & leadership).
• Community engagement within broader YF XRP events.

• Support Injection Molding, Assembly, and Special Process facilities through hands‑on activities.
• Develop people, processes, procedures, and equipment used in operations.
• Evaluate equipment, make improvement recommendations, and execute applicable recommendations.
• Learn to quote and launch new injection‑molding, assembly, or special‑process equipment in North America.
• Gain a solid grasp of scientific molding principles, eDART, and related equipment.
• Work closely with plant teams to address equipment‑related issues impacting performance.
• Travel, including overnight travel, as required.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Intern or Co‑Op automotive experience preferred.
• Analytical and mechanical aptitude for problem solving.
• Effective communication skills within a team environment.
• Troubleshooting experience highly desirable.
• Ability to interact with employees at all levels.
• Self‑motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with CAD a plus.
