• Comply fully with local and ADM’s safety regulations/standards and promote safety culture. Drive continuous process safety improvement.
• Support Product and Process Development work collaboratively with R&D and Operations.
• Support Operations run planning and execution for process and quality targets
• Develop, Implement and Support Statistical Process Control methodologies
• Assist local Operation Leadership in the capital budgeting and execution process to ensure requirements and guidelines for Divisional and Central Projects are achieved
• Manage capital spending to annual budget targets and reporting spending performance and forecast to ensure utilization of allocated funds. Work with the manufacturing representatives to ensure on scope, on-time, on budget execution of projects
• Drive Operational Excellence and process optimization ideas. Initiation, development and execution of process improvements and approved capital projects in close cooperation with process engineers.
• Manage the project portfolio in cooperation with the local Plant Manager and the Regional Director Oilseeds Technology.
• Manage capital spending to annual budget targets and reporting spending performance and forecast to ensure utilization of allocated funds. Work with the manufacturing representatives to ensure on scope, on-time, on budget execution of projects.
• Develop 5-year capital project portfolio to ensure improved productivity of the facility. Ensure that the proper projects are identified and in-line with long term business objectives. Assist Operation Leadership in the evaluations and prioritization of capital projects.
• Remains current with new process technology developments and equipment suppliers
• Training and development of process engineers
• Assists in troubleshooting when the location is not able to solve

• Bachelor’s or Master degree in the fields of chemistry, food processing, production manufacturing, engineering, technology, or other related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in cellulose and related production processes. Preferably as superintendent or project engineer.
• 5-10 year of experience in safety, health, environment and quality, production/processes, and project management.
• P&L responsibility/cost management experience
• Senior leadership interaction
• Operation excellence/continuous improvement
• Project management
• Compliance and safety experience
