Electrical Designer Description
- Design electrical schematics, panel layouts, and P& using AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical.
- Develop electrical BOMs and support documentation.
- Program electronic controllers and radar devices; PLC programming is a plus.
- Support internal teams with technical expertise and participate in design reviews and product development.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards; manage engineering documentation and change requests.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits (digital/analog), VFDs, soft starters, and fiber optics.
- Familiar with NEC, NFPA 70, and C1D2 standards.
- Skilled in designing and troubleshooting 3-phase and single-phase power systems, control circuits, and performing voltage drop and arc flash calculations.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; must be eligible for a U.S. passport and TWIC card.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chattanooga, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.00/hr.
