Construction Engineer – Structural & Steel Projects

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 (based on experience)
đź’Ş
Experience: 2–5 years in construction or structural engineering, preferably with steel fabrication or erection projects
Support structural steel and fabrication projects from planning through completion. You’ll provide engineering guidance, coordinate with project teams, oversee field activities, ensure safety and quality compliance, and help keep projects on schedule and within budget. This role blends office‑based technical support with hands‑on field oversight.
What We’re Looking For- Experience in construction engineering, structural engineering, or related fields
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and steel installation practices
- Proficiency with software such as AutoCAD, Procore, or Bluebeam
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both in office and on construction sites
- Preferred: experience with government or secure facility projects, steel fabrication knowledge, and engineering credentials (EIT or related)
