This is a full-time on-site role based in Chattanooga, TN, for a Roadway Design Engineer. The role involves designing roadway and transportation systems, including preparation of plans, calculations, and reports. Responsibilities also include coordinating with internal teams and clients, ensuring compliance with government standards, and supporting permitting and utility coordination efforts. This position plays a critical role in delivering quality designs and ensuring successful implementation of infrastructure projects.
Qualifications- Strong Analytical Skills and Transportation Planning experience.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service abilities.
- Knowledge of transportation management systems and practices.
- Proficiency in using design software (e.g., Micro Station, OpenROADS, etc.).
- Familiarity with FDOT/TDOT standards and practices is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
