Private Equity Associate

A long-standing LMM Private Equity firm in the Chattanooga, TN region is looking to add to their team between now and Summer 2026 at the Associate level. • Conduct detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis for potential investment opportunities.
• Perform due diligence, including market research, competitive analysis, and operational assessments.
• Prepare investment memoranda and present findings to internal investment committees.
• Support deal execution, including structuring, negotiation, and closing processes.
• Monitor portfolio company performance and assist in strategic initiatives to drive value creation.
• Collaborate with management teams of portfolio companies to support growth and operational improvements.
• Track industry trends and identify new investment opportunities.
• Maintain and update internal databases and investment tracking tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in investment banking (M&A) or private equity.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Capital IQ, Bloomberg).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.
