Job Description
Our client is seeking a Plant Controller to lead financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning for a Tier 1 automotive supplier in northern Georgia near Chattanooga, TN. This role oversees budgeting, forecasting, compliance, cash management, and supports executive leadership with financial insight and process improvement.
Tasks & Responsibilities- Oversee financial reporting, month‑end/year‑end close, and accounting operations
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and cost control
- Ensure compliance, risk management, and financial system integrity
- Support plant leadership with KPI analysis, cost savings, and pricing strategy
- Lead financial improvement projects and support new product launches
- Supervise and develop finance team (24 employees)
- Manage audits, banking, taxes, and external financial relationships
- Partner with senior leadership on business strategy and growth initiatives
- Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting (Master’s preferred); CPA preferred
- 10+ years finance experience
- 5+ years leadership experience in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of reporting, budgeting, cash management, and ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
- Experience with compliance, risk management, and financial controls

Salary: $110,000 – $125,000 USD (Annual Salary)
