Seeking an experienced Financial Advisor (FA) to expand their current book of business and join the Chattanooga-area team. The FA will work independently within a successful team, building their own success while leveraging the reputation and resources of Wilson Bank & Trust and Raymond James Financial Services.

Responsibilities
  • Create a smooth transition for existing book of business to Raymond James
  • Achieve a retention goal of 60%+ for current clients
  • Proactively seek new client relationships
  • Source prospective business through networking and referrals
  • Provide financial planning services to clients using Raymond James resources
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients
  • Promote the branch’s wealth enhancement and planning services
  • Implement investment models and strategies suitable for clients
  • Collaborate with team members and staff effectively
  • Follow all company and industry supervisory guidelines and policies
  • Participate in meetings, training, community events, and continuing education
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act/AML laws
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Industry Experience Requirements
  • At least 3 years of financial planning and/or investment advisory experience (preferred)
  • Experience servicing high net worth clients
  • Active Series 7 and 66 licenses
  • Current Life & Health Insurance Licenses
  • Clean U-4 and U-5 history
  • CFP designation (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal)
  • Strong relationship management and business development skills
  • Exceptional follow-up skills
  • Client service-oriented attitude
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (strongly preferred)
