Financial Manager, Financial Analyst
The Director of Billing Planning and Analysis is a strategic role responsible for aligning Finance and Billing analytics to improve cross‑functional data collaboration, aligning the company’s strategic goals with Home Serve’s financial plan. This role requires strong analytical, strategic and communication skills and involves managing a team, collaborating with other departments, and presenting findings to senior management. The director will analyze financial and billing data, identify trends, and provide insights to improve forecasting and business processes.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary liaison between Finance and Billing departments to align priorities, process enhancements, and reporting accuracy.
- Develop and implement cross‑functional strategies to improve revenue recognition, cash flow forecast and financial accuracy.
- Evaluate current billing and finance workflows and recommend improvements to enhance reporting with the goal of reducing payment application variances.
- Implement a process for aligning suspends reconciliation and unapplied cash between Operations and Finance systems.
- Support Project Odyssey implementation by assisting in system configuration and testing to ensure optimal functionality.
- Prepare and communicate monthly business review of billing/finance issues including key KPI tracking and performance.
- Establish robust reporting, analytics, and dashboards to monitor billing performance against financial forecasts, identify trends, and drive data‑driven decisions.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Finance or Business Operations.
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well organized, detail oriented, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while managing multiple concurrent tasks.
- Competency in MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ad‑hoc responsibilities as assigned.
- Travel up to 15% as needed.
