As a Property Tax Manager, we’ll look to you to apply your knowledge to a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising strategic outcomes to some very complex issues. Key Responsibilities
  • Support client engagements by coordinating day‑to‑day interactions with clients, reviewing staff work product, driving delivery of services to meet deadlines, developing internal team members, and managing engagement economics.
  • Continuously build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments and legislation that impact clients.
Skills and Attributes for Success
  • Understand complex commercial real and personal property tax concepts and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situations.
  • Develop and deliver quality tax planning approaches with timely and responsive services and work products that exceed client expectations.
  • Identify and offer opportunities for tax planning and other special services.
  • Prepare quality, practical approaches to the client’s tax situation and arrive at appropriate conclusions.
Eligibility and Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant property tax consulting experience or equivalent experience in business or industry.
  • CPA or JD.
  • Broad exposure to state and local taxation.
  • Excellent managerial, organizational, analytical and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment.
Desired Qualifications
  • A proven record in a professional services environment.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

What We Offer
  • Comprehensive compensation and benefits package. Base salary range for all geographic locations in the US is $105,100 to $192,600, with higher ranges for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento).
  • Flexible vacation policy and time off for EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care and other leaves of absence.
  • Hybrid model: expect to work in person 40–60% of the time in external client‑serving roles.
