Job SummaryReporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Recruiter manages full life cycle recruiting for assigned areas, from initial posting of job requisitions through completion of all steps in the hiring and pre‑boarding process, to ensure selected candidates meet hiring standards of Erlanger Health. The Recruiter develops recruitment and marketing plans to source the most qualified talent, advises and assists hiring managers with selection decisions, and presents and negotiates salary offers with selected candidates.
The Recruiter demonstrates a high level of professionalism and provides excellent service to all customers, internal and external.
- Build and execute recruiting plans to source qualified and diverse candidates from a variety of sources.
- Develop relationships with key leaders and understand the business and recruiting needs of assigned areas, including forecasting and new program development, using data to guide decision making.
- Provide counsel to hiring managers in all areas of talent acquisition.
- Manage the selection process to include screening, interviewing and assessing candidates.
- Create and extend job offers to internal and external candidates; handle all aspects of offer negotiation.
- Support virtual and in‑person hiring events.
- Work closely with other TA and HR team members to adhere to pre‑boarding practices.
- Manage the pre‑boarding process for selected candidates and participate in process improvement work.
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Preferred: (none specified; staff hired prior to March 7, 2018 have been grandfathered in.)
- Required: Two or more years of recruiting experience, or business operations leadership experience which includes responsibility for managing complex hiring processes, or a combination of experience and relevant education.
- Current Erlanger Health Human Resources team members may also be considered for candidates with one year of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist managing complex hiring and onboarding processes.
- Preferred: Demonstrated success building and maintaining pipelines of highly skilled candidates using a variety of technology and sources; two years of recruitment experience on a high‑volume recruiting team; healthcare human resources experience; employment branding or marketing experience;
People Soft and Taleo experience.
- Preferred: National Association for Health Care Recruitment Certified Healthcare Recruiter;
Society for Human Resource Management CP certification.
