Operational responsibility in problem management (incident, problem) within the Production environment. The specialist supports Factory Information Systems and ancillary systems such as Torque, Electrical Testing and SCADA. Work includes troubleshooting business application systems, collaborating with users and business process owners, interpreting the technology roadmap and reporting on key performance indicators.

• Operational responsibility in problem management on the production floor.
• Create and maintain Technology Architecture documentation.
• Create and maintain procedure / work instructions.
• Work with the client’s imaging framework to ensure proper staging, configuration and recovery of critical hardware.
• Identify automated solutions that support business process maturity or improvement.

• Onsite availability in Chattanooga, TN.
• Nights and weekends required.
• Hours flexible based on production schedule.
• Additional overtime may be required for system updates and other duties.

Education:

• CompTIA A+, Network+ or Security+.
• Degree in a computer‑related field or Information Technology Management (preferred).

Experience:

• 2–6 years of professional experience in a related field.
• Technical equipment troubleshooting and setup.
• Configuration skills with scanners, Android handhelds, IP‑based cameras, desktop/laptop PCs, presentation displays, embedded PCs.
• Windows (XP, 7, 10) knowledge.
• Ticket / work order management system competence.
• Basic networking (IP management, switches, Wi‑Fi).
• ITIL process knowledge (change / problem).
• Asset management experience.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple concurrent activities.
• Systemic thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience defining and validating business processes.
• Client‑focused engagement with internal departments and customers.
• Strong technical skills and teamwork.

• Database interface/connection knowledge.
• Power Shell scripting.
• Failure Mode Effect Analysis experience.

• Office environment with standard equipment.
• May need to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Must talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs occasionally; prolonged periods at a desk and computer work.
• Must work effectively in an open, noisy environment.
• Must sit for prolonged periods while traveling.

Compensation: Hourly rate $25/hr (regional adjustments apply). May be eligible for discretionary performance bonuses.
