We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join our team in Chattanooga, Tennessee
. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in civil litigation and trial work
, with a strong background in medical malpractice defense
. This role is designed for an attorney who thrives in the courtroom, can manage complex cases from inception through verdict, and is ready to take a leadership role within a dynamic legal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of complex litigation matters, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Serve as lead trial counsel in medical malpractice and other civil defense cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, experts, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and paralegals.
• Participate in firm strategy meetings and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Tennessee (in good standing).
• 10+ years of litigation and trial experience
  , with a proven record of first-chair trial success.
• Demonstrated experience in medical malpractice defense is required.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
