Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-established personal injury law firm based in Chattanooga, Tennessee is seeking a full-time Litigation Attorney to handle car accident and premises liability cases. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice in Tennessee, with additional licensure in Georgia considered a plus. This role is well-suited for an attorney with strong litigation skills who is eager to grow in a collaborative environment with support, resources, and mentorship from experienced practitioners in the field of personal injury law.

Location:

Chattanooga, Tennessee

Duties:

Manage personal injury cases involving car accidents and premises liability

Collaborate closely with other attorneys on shared case files

Engage in all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation

Develop legal strategies based on case facts and client goals

Communicate with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel

Utilize firm-provided legal forms, resources, and templates to streamline casework

Requirements:

Active license to practice law in Tennessee (required)

Georgia bar license (preferred but not required)

Interest or experience in personal injury litigation

Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

Willingness to learn, grow, and invest long-term in the firm’s practice

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Licensed to practice law in Tennessee

Skills:

Knowledge of common medical issues in personal injury cases (preferred)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Proactive, trustworthy, and dependable

Ability to manage case deadlines and litigation timelines
