Position OverviewThe Regional Manager is responsible for many facets of management, including operating Tire Discounters retail stores and ensuring operational quality in compliance with company policies. The role recruits, hires, evaluates, and develops Sales Associates, Service Technicians, General Managers, and Service Managers; implements sales strategies; and maintains an active presence in the assigned region's stores to create a customer‑oriented culture.
Reporting to the Zone Vice President, the Regional Manager collaborates with various departments to ensure consistent delivery of Tire Discounters core values, outstanding customer service, and program offerings.
What You Will Be Doing- Attract and retain top talent—network and partner with talent acquisition and zone leadership to maintain an active pipeline of candidates.
- Utilize available tools to proactively anticipate staffing changes, new store openings, acquisitions, and growth.
- Ensure the right talent is in the right seat and maintain a retirement‑mentality culture for all team members.
- Develop team members—ensure they use all tools provided to reach their fullest potential.
- Ensure 100% compliance with non‑negotiables and processes so every customer and vehicle receives outstanding service.
- Develop high‑performing team members ready to promote and build a talent bench.
- Provide consistent performance feedback and resolve concerns in partnership with the HR Business Partner.
- Make sure all locations operate in accordance with high standards.
- Work with store teams to ensure policies are followed and recommend improvements.
- Support and effectively deliver Tire Discounters programs relevant to locations.
- Conduct regular store visits and audits to verify highest level performance.
- Communicate across all levels—nexus between support functions and stores.
- Ensure communication is delivered, team members understand the why.
- Escalate concerns and issues timely and follow up to ensure proper support.
- Handle or delegate customer concerns within the region and engage in timely customer issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Control expenses—responsible for the payroll budget within the region.
- Assess talent and sales environment regularly to stay within budget; work with ZVps and Talent on headcount.
- Limit exposure to risk and protect company assets and inventory.
