Laser Operator 2nd. Shift

Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced laser cutting technology in a dynamic and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components efficiently and accurately.

• Set up and operate laser cutting machines according to specifications and production schedules
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure precise fabrication
• Monitor machine operation to maintain quality standards and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laser equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to maintain a safe working environment
• Document production data and report any machine malfunctions or quality concerns to management
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and improve processes

• Proven experience operating laser cutting or similar manufacturing machinery
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and measurement tools
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
• Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to laser equipment and manufacturing environments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus
• Experience with BLM LT7 Lasers is a plus
