Your Day‑to‑DayAs a Full Time CNC Machinist at Card‑Monroe Corp. in Ringgold GA you will play a crucial role in setting up and operating CNC milling centers and turning centers. Your precision and expertise will be vital in producing a diverse range of parts based on blueprints and shop drawings. To excel as a CNC Machinist you will need high attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Ideal candidates will have a high school or trade school diploma and a background as a machine operator with 3‑5 years of experience. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and shop drawings is a must, along with familiarity with measuring tools like dial calipers, tape measures, micrometers, and protractors.
Candidates should also have a solid grasp of basic mathematical skills and be comfortable working with PCs.
- High School or Trade School graduate preferred.
- Machine operator background with 3‑5 years of experience.
- Must be able to read and work from blueprints and shop drawings.
- Must be familiar with measuring tools such as dial calipers, tape measures, micrometers, protractors, height gauge, and squares.
- Must be proficient in basic mathematical skills.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of PCs preferred.
