Job Title: Welder - 1st Shift

We are seeking a dedicated welder to oversee and participate in the fabrication, installation, assembly, and insulation of industrial ovens being built. This role requires hands-on labor work with an emphasis on MIG welding, which will constitute approximately 20-25% of the job.

• Perform labor-intensive tasks related to the installation of insulation.
• MIG weld beads up to 4 inches as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints for accurate installation and welding tasks.
• Utilize hand and power tools for fabrication work.
• Work with various materials including stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum.
• Operate a press brake and perform mechanical tasks as required.

• Proficiency in MIG welding techniques and processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work diagrams.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of fabrication and mechanical operations.
• Experience with materials such as stainless steel, carbon, and aluminum.

• Supervisor material with a strong understanding of MIG processes.
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
• Prepared to wear steel toe shoes as part of the dress code.

The work will be conducted in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility. Employees are required to wear steel toe shoes, and the role involves working a 10-hour shift from 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with weekly hours ranging from 40 to 50 hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chattanooga, TN.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Chattanooga, TN.
