Production Supervisor (Injection Molding)

Location: United States, Chattanooga, Tennessee

Shift: Day shift 4:30am-2:30pm Mon-Fri with OT as needed, plus periodic 2:30am startup.

Reports to: Injection Department Manager

Industry: Automotive manufacturing, injection molded plastics

Salary: $80-85k plus overtime after 45 hours

Main Mission: Manage injection molding department KPIs and main deliverables. Ensure customer expectations are met in terms of on-time delivery, and product quality. Develop a team in production, which will provide a consistently high-quality product efficiently.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Safety, Scrap, Consumption, OEE, Standardization, Right First Time (RFT), Injection assessment results.

• Responsible for safety, quality, cost and delivery of assigned shift
• Lead team and promote teamwork to achieve objectives
• Monitor quality levels and root cause; correct non-conformances
• Maintain processes per process control plans and ensure associates follow standards
• Supervise production associates
• Consistently apply policies and procedures
• Develop, implement, and evaluate continuous improvement plans
• Understand customer requirements for quality and delivery
• Provide feedback to Injection Area Manager on quality or production concerns
• Develop associates into cross-trained, high-performing team members
• Control training plan completion

• 3+ years’ experience in automotive injection molded parts production and technical supervision
• Ability to deploy structured problem‑solving processes in the injection department
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Computer skills
• Team player, flexible, with good communication skills
