Acute Care Med Surg Registered Nurse at Parkridge Medical Center, a 270+ bed hospital located near downtown Chattanooga. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with departmental standards and the requirements of the relevant state and specialty. You will collaborate with medical providers and care teams, provide compassionate care, and act as an advocate for patients.

• Assess patient condition during admission and on each shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, and ensure thorough documentation.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and take appropriate action for adverse events.
• Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve them.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up, ensuring complete understanding.

• Registered Nurse credential.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of start date.
