Position: Staff Registered Nurse Cardiology

Staff Registered Nurse Cardiology

Parkridge Medical Center is seeking a skilled Cardiac Services Liaison RN for our Chattanooga, Tennessee location. Applicants will work as part of our Cardiology team, providing patient-centered care, clinical leadership, and support for cardiac services initiatives.

This range is provided by Parkridge Medical Center. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience – talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base Pay Range

$20.25/hr - $36.75/hr

Job Summary and Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the competency validation checklist(s) and ensures staff maintain competency in the required skills.
  • Demonstrates age-specific knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment and care of patients.
  • Ensures the privacy of our patients and confidentiality of their Protected Health Information (PHI).
  • Utilizes nursing process for individual care to meet needs of patients.
  • Demonstrates and teaches the performance of technical skills and procedures.
  • Demonstrates and teaches critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrates and teaches customer service initiatives.
  • Promotes and exhibits teamwork.
  • Ensures compliance with hospital policies/procedures and patient and staff safety initiatives.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in utilizing the EMR for data entry and abstraction for analytics.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Cardiovascular Information Systems.
  • Ensures accurate and timely abstraction and submission of National Registry Data.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
  • BSN or MSN preferred.
  • 5 years experience in cardiovascular patient care in an acute care setting.
  • Previous supervision and/or clinical leadership experience.
  • Current TN RN licensure or Compact State License (with 90‑day grace period to obtain TN license).
  • American Heart Association BLS, ACLS certification.
