Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Stepdown position with night shifts and cardiac telemetry care requirements.
Responsibilities
• Work in a hospital cardiac stepdown unit
• Care provided to cardiac monitoring and stepdown patients
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Assignment is for a 13-week contract
• Responsible for caring for patients with cardiac conditions requiring continuous monitoring and stepdown care
• Must provide references according to state requirements
• Assignment requires night shifts and may involve weekend and holiday coverage as per unit needs
Requirements
• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in cardiac stepdown or telemetry
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Current ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
