American Traveler is hiring an RN for an ICU position requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and TN or compact RN licensure.

• 9-bed ICU unit with patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1
• All-RN staffing model without unit secretaries or techs
• Equipment includes ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, and GE monitors
• Documentation via Meditech
• Self-scheduling with manager oversight, including 3-4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Floating required to Med-Surg or ED for critical staffing needs, applicable to travelers
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Strong teamwork skills required
• Advanced skills needed: ventilator management, IV drip titration, and arterial line management
• Experience with procedures including intubation, central line insertion, and arterial line insertion
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Facility holds Chest Pain Center and Stroke Accreditation
• Expected to uphold patient experience standards including AIDET and bedside shift report (BSSR), with Press Ganey goals above 75%
• Navy blue scrubs required as part of dress code
• New grad RNs supported on this unit
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates will not be considered
