Description

Animal Clinic East is seeking a full‑time Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our AAHA‑Accredited hospital. CSRs are valuable members of our veterinary team and serve as the first and last impression of the clinic for clients. The CSR is responsible for efficient front‑desk operations while bridging communication between pet owners and the veterinary team.

• Greet and welcome each visitor and assess their needs.
• Handle incoming phone calls/emails and determine urgency.
• Perform client check‑ins and check‑outs, including reviewing invoices.
• Communicate visit expectations to clients and assist owners with pet management.
• Process and document financial transactions accurately.
• Schedule appointments based on client expectations, patient medical requirements, and clinic needs.
• Manage emergency situations and walk‑ins.
• Respond to online requests for products, prescriptions or client questions in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness in lobby areas, exam rooms, and general stocking of client or patient areas.
• Recommend products available to clients through our facilities.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of customer service experience required.
• Experience as a doctor’s assistant (human or veterinary) is a bonus.
• General computer skills and ability to learn multiple programs.
• Excellent communication skills and problem‑solving ability.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Team player with patience and a positive attitude.
• Must be able to work seated for a majority of the day.
