Position: Emergency Veterinarian

Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000 / year
Description
We are seeking to add an Emergency Veterinarian (ER DVM) to our team.
Part-time or Full-time candidates will be considered.
Responsibilities- The full-time schedule generally consists of three 12-hour shifts per week, while the part-time schedule typically includes 8 to 12-hour shifts, depending on preference.
- Experienced overnight ER DVMs can opt to work 9 shifts every month / 4-week block.
- No mandatory on-call shifts!
- Manage an ER caseload with clinical autonomy; provide high-quality emergency veterinary care.
Experience is wonderful but new veterinary graduates seeking mentorship and guidance are encouraged to apply! This is a great opportunity for veterinarians looking for professional growth.
Qualifications- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree / VMD or equivalent
- An active veterinary license in the state of TN is preferred, but not required; licensure transfer fees will be covered
- Passionate about practicing outstanding emergency veterinary medicine and building a strong team
- Strong communicator who models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients
- Some night and weekend shifts are required - open to discussion based on availability
- State-of-the-art veterinary technology and fully equipped surgical suites, including an on-site CT scanner, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy.
- The most up-to-date equipment including Snyder oxygen cage, canine and feline transfusions, Liga-Sur, Poli Phase sealant, and GIA stapler
- A team of Specialists in Oncology, Surgery, and Internal Medicine, a cohesive group of seven (and counting) Emergency Clinicians, and a skilled team of Licensed Veterinary Technicians and support staff
- 4 to 1 Veterinary Technician to DVM Ratio
- 24-hour monitoring care
