Quality Technician
Card‑Monroe Corp. is looking for a Quality Technician to support our Panel Shop in Chattanooga, TN. This onsite, full‑time, hourly position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Essential Job Functions- Work from complex blueprints and electrical schematics to perform final inspection and testing of control systems per customer and regulatory requirements.
- Test energized electrical control panels.
- Maintain high attention to detail and efficiency in a fast‑paced environment.
- Use analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and correct root causes of product test failures.
- Provide technical assistance to the Quality Control department.
- Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to establish required documentation for quality products.
- Interact with other department heads and management to resolve issues that arise during the inspection/test process.
- Train lower‑level inspectors and production personnel to minimize defects and product repairs.
- Attend meetings as required and implement action items assigned by management.
- Complete projects that may be assigned to assist with process improvements and the Quality Management System.
- Maintain accurate records regarding tested products.
- Assist in the design and manufacture of test fixtures.
- Assist with documenting test procedures.
- Complete and pass UL 508A MTR course and certification (cost covered by CMA).
- Degree or technical certification in an electrical discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in an electrical testing environment.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawings.
- Proficient with electrical test equipment (Hi‑pot tester, meters, power supplies, transformers, and other electronic test devices).
- Excellent attention to detail, focus, and quality.
- Knowledge of electrical industry standards (NFPA 70, UL 508A).
- Experience testing energized industrial control panels.
- Good written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
