Sales Counselor

About the Role

Estimated first-year earnings range, including hourly wage and commission: $40,000 - $60,000. Uncapped commission and earnings.

This position sells pre‑need and at‑need funeral services and inventory as well as cemetery services, property and merchandise.

The Sales Counselor assists families with funeral selections and attends services.

Leads are generated through a combination of walk‑ins, inbound calls and proactive lead generation and prospecting.

Training Pay: $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Business, Marketing, or Sales preferred.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) required.
• Experience working in a CRM preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving, and verbal & written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.
