Sales Representative

The Jackson McLain Agencies are looking to hire a friendly and motivated employee for an entry-level position. You do not need to have any prior experience in the insurance industry to apply. We need someone who has excellent communication skills and can build strong relationships with new and existing clients. As part of this role, you will provide our benefits to the workforce using the leads we provide.

You will be responsible for managing client accounts and claims, looking for new business opportunities, and reporting on your daily activities. We offer full-time employment; however, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule.

  * Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their exact needs.
• ***** Present and sell our insurance products to new and existing clients.

• 18 years or older
• Pass a background check (no felonies or pending charges)
• Hold a valid sate drivers license
• Hold a valid state Insurance License, or be willing to get licensed with our scholarship program
• Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are required; customer service experience is a plus
• Extra commitment and willingness to receive initial classroom product training, field training, and mentoring (as well as the commitment to continuous education throughout workshops, seminars, and conferences)
