Thompson Truck Group is seeking a motivated, relationship-focused Truck Sales Representative to grow our presence across Northeast Alabama and Northwest Georgia. If you're a proven sales professional who enjoys building customer relationships, managing your own territory, and helping businesses find the right equipment solutions, we want to hear from you.

As a Territory Truck Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for selling new and used heavy-duty trucks while serving as a trusted advisor to fleets and owner-operators throughout the region. You'll:

• Develop and grow relationships with fleet customers and owner-operators
• Prospect and generate new business throughout the territory
• Sell new Class 8 and used trucks from quote to delivery
• Match customers with the right truck specifications, financing, warranties, and service support
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and customer contact history in CRM
• Monitor local market conditions, competitor activity, and truck values
• Represent Thompson Truck Group at customer sites, trade shows, and industry events
• Meet and exceed sales and profitability goals

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience with a proven record of success
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a large territory
• Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to travel throughout the territory, including occasional overnight trips
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Heavy-duty truck, trailer, equipment, or transportation industry sales experience
• Existing relationships with fleets and owner-operators
• Knowledge of commercial truck specifications and financing
• CDL or trucking industry experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

This position offers a base salary plus commission structure with six-figure earning potential
