As a Security Officer – Manufacturing Patrol in Chattanooga, TN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner to support the location’s operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor for and report any unusual conditions, hazards, or security-related concerns within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Support access control procedures by observing entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management as directed.

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
