Position: Apartment Service Technician - Chattanooga, TN

The Apartment Service Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring resident satisfaction by maintaining high 'white-glove' standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond promptly to maintenance service requests, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and carpentry repairs

* Perform routine preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and systems

* Prepare apartments for new residents by completing unit turns, including painting, drywall repair, fixture installation, and general maintenance

* Assist with emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours on-call rotation as needed

* Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify issues and recommend solutions

* Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition

* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

* Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

* Communicate effectively with residents, team members, and management

Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED

* Ability to read and write in English

* Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively

* A proactive and energetic approach to work

* Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair

* Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

* Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

* Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, work in various weather conditions, and climb ladders or stairs
