About the Role
  • Location: Chattanooga, TN (Baylor School Road)
  • Pay Rate: $25-28/hour

    Schedule:

    Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m.

    - 3:30 p.m. (

    Note:

    Position requires participation in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency facility needs)

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Prep & Inspection: Inspect surfaces, read site instructions, and thoroughly prep areas by scraping, sanding, patching, and filling cracks.

  • Site Setup & Safety: Protect nearby furniture, floors, carpets, and landscaping. Safely erect and set up ladders and scaffolding.

  • Painting & Finishing: Mix, match, and expertly apply paint, stains, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.

  • Inventory & Care: Maintain an accurate inventory of tools and supplies, properly clean equipment, and adhere to chemical disposal and safety guidelines.

  • Team Support: Safely operate a company vehicle and assist the facility maintenance team with emergency service needs during your on-call rotation.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven residential or commercial painting experience (completion of a trade apprenticeship is a plus!).

  • Trade

    Skills:

    High attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and confidence/balance when working on ladders or scaffolding.

  • Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, kneel, crawl, bend, and safely lift up to 50 lbs throughout an 8-hour shift
