Group Fitness Instructor

Job Overview

We’re seeking an energetic, reliable, and passionate Group Fitness Instructor to teach yoga at a high‑profile company’s fitness center located in Chattanooga, TN. The role offers the opportunity to provide class coverage at multiple locations.

• Develop effective, engaging, and motivating class formats accompanied by fun and appropriate playlists.
• Show passion for client results by building class attendance and offering alternative movements to accommodate all levels of fitness.
• Provide class coverage at multiple locations.

• Current nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification or specialty class certificate/license (e.g., Zumba®) and current CPR/AED certification (no online CPR/AED certification accepted).
• Prior experience in Group Fitness, Personal Training, corporate health promotion, wellness, etc.
• Knowledgeable about the industry and possess customer skills to network, engage, and interact with all clients, guests, and participants.
• Professional communication skills using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain and relay information.
• Ability to effectively engage participants as a public speaker.
• Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

For residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, New York City, and Washington only, the hourly rate for this position ranges from $30 to $75. Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, certifications, geographic differentials, and other business and organizational needs. The position is located in Chattanooga, TN.
