Overview
Senior Quantity Surveyor – Kier Group / Kier BAM Joint Venture, based in Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset. This is a site-based role with hybrid working available.
Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater – some working from home possible
Hours: 42.5 hours per week – start and end times may be flexible

What you will be responsible forAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work within the Kier BAM Joint Venture team, supporting the commercial and contractual aspects of the Hinkley Point C project. Your day-to-day will include:
- Producing accurate cost reporting, forecasting and Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR), and managing target cost mechanisms
- Administering NEC Sub Contracts, overseeing early warning processes and managing compensation events
- Supporting procurement strategy for Civil works packages and ensuring subcontractors meet nuclear compliance standards
- Maintaining regular engagement with the Client and mentoring the commercial team
- Delivering accurate commercial reporting and ensuring adherence to internal governance and compliance standards
This role is suitable for you if you have:
- Proven experience working for a Contractor on a major infrastructure environment, ideally within nuclear, defence, or highly regulated frameworks
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (Options A, C & E essential) and understanding of target cost and collaborative contracting
- Experience managing key subcontract packages independently with strong commercial awareness and financial control
- Strong communication and stakeholder management, building trusted relationships across teams and clients
- Full driving licence and willingness to undertake security vetting
