Role Description

We are seeking a Workshop Supervisor for a full‑time, on‑site role based in our Cheddar location. The Workshop Supervisor will oversee daily workshop activities, manage and guide the team of operatives, ensure workshop operations run efficiently, and maintain a safe working environment. Responsibilities include planning and supervising maintenance and repair schedules, ensuring customer satisfaction, and coordinating with clients to meet service requirements, while upholding high‑quality standards.

Qualifications
  • Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management and leadership
  • Proficiency in maintenance and repair practices, focused on mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Customer satisfaction and customer service expertise, with a professional approach to client interaction and problem‑solving
  • Knowledge of workshop operations and ability to plan, organize, and manage daily tasks effectively
  • Commitment to safety standards and ability to maintain a safe working environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and client engagement
  • Relevant certifications or a background in engineering, maintenance, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in material processing industries would be an advantage
