Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: Shipham

This is a self employed role, hybrid working in the Sandford, Winscombe area. (BS25)

Qualifications and experience are important, but they are only part of the picture. We’re looking for someone who wants more than simply servicing an existing client bank. The ideal candidate will combine technical competence with an entrepreneurial mindset. Someone who sees opportunities, enjoys building relationships, and wants to play a meaningful role in the growth and future direction of a successful practice.

This isn’t simply a role for an adviser who wants to maintain the status quo. For the right individual, this is an opportunity to become an integral part of the firm’s future growth. We are looking for someone who wants to help build a highly respected financial planning business and share in the success they help create.

With share options available and a clear long‑term vision for growth, this role offers the potential to move beyond employment and become a genuine stakeholder in the future of the business.

What will you need to succeed?
  • A genuine belief in holistic, client‑centred financial planning
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning as a minimum, with Chartered or Fellowship ambitions welcomed
  • Proven experience advising clients across pensions, investments and protection
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to earn trust and create long‑term client partnerships
  • A commercial and entrepreneurial mindset, with the desire to contribute to the growth and development of the business
  • The confidence to identify opportunities, generate referrals and help build your own client relationships over time
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute ideas that improve both client outcomes and business performance
  • High professional standards, personal integrity and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences
  • Comfort using modern financial planning technology and digital advice tools
Why us?

Perhaps you’ve reached a stage in your career where you want more influence over the business you work within. You want your ideas heard, your contribution recognised, and the opportunity to help shape the future of a growing practice rather than simply operate within someone else’s framework.

If you’re entrepreneurial by nature, enjoy building relationships and want to create long‑term value for both clients and you, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.

Base salary £27,500 with OTE of £45,000‑£60,000
