CNC Machinist

Role: CNC Machinist

Salary: Up to 45,000 depending on experience

Location: Cheddar

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist who is confident working across both manual and CNC machining. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing high-quality components, from reading engineering drawings to programming, machining, and assembling precision parts.

Responsibilities include:

• Program, write, and edit CNC programs independently
• Read, interpret, and produce engineering drawings
• Operate semi-manual and fully manual lathes
• Carry out precision milling and turning operations
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of rotating mechanical components
• Ensure work meets quality, accuracy, and safety standards

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in CNC programming and manual machining
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience with lathes, milling machines, and general machining operations
• Skilled in diagnosing and repairing mechanical components
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach
