What you’ll do:

• Inspect raw material brought to the seamer to ensure proper specifications are met to produce a high-quality product for our customers.
• Operate seaming equipment and monitor the quality of carpet pad flowing through the line.
• Cut away defective material as needed and operate computer for padding production programs.
• Maintain adequate work materials and monitor equipment within your area to ensure a smooth production flow.
• Seek assistance from senior team members or supervisors to resolve issues impacting production.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

What you have:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer skills.
• Prior experience in a production environment is preferred.
• Effective team collaboration skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• High level of mental and visual attention for safety.
• Ability to lift/maneuver approximately 85-100 pounds multiple times during the shift.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday.
• Willingness to work in environments with noise, moving mechanical parts, and airborne particles.
