About the Role

An ambitious and growing main contractor is looking for a junior, developing Design Coordinator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain hands‑on experience in construction design coordination while working on a variety of high‑profile residential and commercial projects.

• Coordinate design information between internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Support preparation and review of project drawings, schedules, and documentation.
• Track design revisions and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with planning conditions, building regulations, and project requirements.
• Attend design meetings and assist senior team members with reporting.
• Contribute to improving design coordination processes.

• Degree in Architecture, Building Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Some experience in a construction or design environment is advantageous.
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software is a plus.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Flexible to travel across Essex, London, and Stansted.
