St John's school is a one‑form‑entry primary school situated in Danbury, a picturesque friendly village community 6 miles to the east of Chelmsford. The school has extensive grounds, an all‑weather running track, an indoor swimming pool and good facilities which are used to the full by the children through the curriculum, clubs and sporting activities. We have strong links with local churches and the community.

There is a Pre‑School nursery in our grounds which operates independently of us but has strong links. The Parents’ and Friends Association is very active and contributes significantly to the life of the school.
