Salary: £32,916 – £42,280 per annum (FTE)

Description

The thriving team of Business and Professional Studies is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic part‑time Travel and Tourism Lecturer to primarily teach the Level 2 and Level 3 Travel and Tourism programmes, with the opportunity to teach related subjects throughout the department. The successful candidate will support the design of new curricula for 16‑18 and adult learning programmes.

Responsibilities

Teach and assess NCFE programmes at Level 2 and Level 3.

Design and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons.

Contribute to curriculum development for 16‑18 and adult learning courses.

Collaborate with colleagues in the department on teaching strategies and student support.

Maintain professional development and industry engagement.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in teaching and assessing NCFE programmes.
  • Relevant industry experience in travel and tourism.
  • Background in curriculum design and delivery.
  • Teaching qualification preferred.
  • Excellent teaching and learning record.

Starting salary will depend on qualifications, skills and experience. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
