As a Teaching Assistant / Sports Coach, you will work closely with teachers and students across various schools in Chelmsford, providing support both academically and through sports-based activities. Your role will be to encourage student engagement, promote physical well-being, and help create a positive learning environment.

• Supporting the classroom teacher with lesson delivery and student supervision
• Assisting students with their learning, particularly in PE and sports-related activities
• Organizing and coaching sports sessions and extracurricular activities
• Encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence among students
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers
• Promoting a safe and inclusive environment for all students

• Previous experience working with children or young people (preferred)
• A passion for sports and physical education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
• Ability to adapt to different school environments and age groups
• Relevant sports coaching qualifications or experience are desirable
