Our client, a leading educational organisation in Chelmsford, Essex, is seeking passionate and dedicated Outreach Teachers/Tutors to join their dynamic team. OverviewThe Outreach Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons to primary school students in various settings throughout Chelmsford. Your role will involve working closely with students, parents, and school staff to identify and address individual learning needs, ensuring that each child receives the personalised attention they require to achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities- Planning and delivering creative, interactive lessons that align with the national curriculum and cater to the diverse learning styles of students
- Assessing student progress and providing regular feedback to parents and school staff
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Participating in professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest educational trends and best practices
- Fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes student well‑being and success
- Experience with interventions, tutoring or teaching
- Proven experience teaching in a primary, secondary or SEN school setting
- Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum or functional skills and current educational practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs
- A passion for nurturing young minds and helping students achieve their best
Our client offers a competitive salary range of £20‑£25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. As an employee, you will have the choice between an LTD or Umbrella payment structure, providing you with the flexibility to select the option that best suits your needs.
