As an MFL Teacher, you will deliver vibrant and creative lessons in French (KS3-4) and Spanish (KS4), with the exciting opportunity to teach up to A-Level for the right candidate. You will use a wide range of active teaching techniques—from role-plays and surveys to digital immersion—ensuring that students don't just learn a language, but live it. You will be part of a collaborative team that balances experienced mentors with energetic new staff, all committed to making languages an essential part of the "Cultural Capital" for every student.

Why this role?
  • Vibrant Department: Work in a suite of air‑conditioned rooms with high‑end audio‑visual resources.
  • Global Enrichment: Get involved in overseas trips, theatre company visits, and international letter exchanges.
  • Professional Evolution: The school is a hub for educational research and places a high value on leadership development and internal promotion.
  • Supportive Community: Join a school where staff feel highly valued and students are described as "respectful and eager to learn."
  • Financial Benefits: Competitive daily rates with a dedicated consultant and a £300 'Refer‑a‑Friend' scheme.
Key Responsibilities

    Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.

  • Academic Excellence: Prepare students for success in AQA GCSE examinations and beyond.
  • Community Spirit: Support the school's inclusive ethos and participate in its rich extra‑curricular life.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs are encouraged to apply).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service.
  • Proven Ability to teach French and Spanish to at least Key Stage 4.
