The Role As an English Academic Mentor , you will:
Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group academic support in English Work with students across KS3 and KS4 , supporting reading, writing, comprehension and analytical skills Help students develop confidence and improve their academic progress Support pupils who may require additional intervention to reach their potential Work closely with English Teachers to identify areas for development and deliver effective interventions Build positive relationships with students and act as a motivating role model Contribute to a positive and aspirational school environment Previous experience working with young people is highly desirable — tutoring, mentoring, classroom support, youth work or similar experience would be particularly advantageous.
