Cover Supervisor

Cover Supervisor – Chelmsford We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Chelmsford. The successful candidate must have previous experience in teaching, mentoring or tutoring and hold a degree from a recognised UK university, achieving a First-Class or 2:1 classification . This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate who is passionate about education and keen to make a positive impact on students' learning and development.

You will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and maintaining a positive, productive learning environment. We are looking for someone who:
Holds a degree from a recognised UK university with a First-Class or 2:1 classification. Has previous experience in teaching, mentoring or tutoring. Can confidently manage classroom behaviour and maintain high expectations. Is able to follow lesson plans and ensure students remain focused and engaged. Has excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills. Is adaptable, proactive and able to use their initiative.
