Process & Production Engineer / Technician On-site

This isn’t another “keep the line moving” kind of job. Whether you’re a qualified engineer or a hands‑on technician, they want people who can actually improve the way things are done, not just keep patching over problems.

This team doesn’t do red tape or endless meetings. You’ll be trusted to make real process improvements that matter, layout changes, tooling tweaks, new routing, and operator training. They design and build precision connectivity solutions for aerospace, defence, and industrial applications, so quality and reliability actually mean something here.

You’ll be part of the engineering backbone on site, supporting production, quality, and design teams to make sure everything runs as efficiently as possible. Expect to:

• Lead and support CI activity across the shop floor
• Run root cause investigations and 8D reports
• Manage and improve process documentation
• Work with design engineering on new processes and tooling
• Train and support operators on new builds and methods
• Drive 5S, lean and workflow improvements

It’s hands‑on, varied, and you’ll see the impact of what you do every day.

• Experience in manufacturing or production engineering
• Confident with process improvement and documentation
• Comfortable working across teams
• HNC or relevant degree or 2+ years’ shop floor experience
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes
• Curious, practical, and eager to grow into more responsibility

• Salary depending on experience (£28k-£38k)
• Day shifts only
