Site Investigation Engineer (Geotechnics) Chelmsford £30,000 - £38,000  Training  Progression  Site Based  Days Based  Company Vehicle Do you have experience in site investigation and want to join a national geotechnical specialist, giving you the opportunity to work across the country on a wide range of exciting and varied projects, while benefiting from full industry training and long-term career progression? This fast-growing company delivers a comprehensive suite of site surveying, ground investigation, and laboratory testing services across the UK.

Since its recent establishment in 2012, it has experienced consistent growth and is now seeking a motivated individual to join their team of 38 other Engineers. In this role you will primarily be site-based working on a wide range of projects where no two days are the same. You will be going to sites nationwide (stayaways expected) collecting data, logging boreholes and acquiring water, rock and mineral samples.

You will be responsible for preparing geotechnical investigation plans as well as producing high-quality geotechnical reports of your findings when office based. This role is ideal for a Geologist or Geotechnical Engineer looking to join a company that offers a site-based position working on a diverse range of construction projects across the UK.

The Role:

Borehole Drilling and logging Accumulating data on water, rock and mineral samples Primarily site based with stayaways expected and occasional office days Monday - Friday (8am-5pm) NVQ lvl 2 training on drilling techniques
