Production Engineer

We are partnered with a global engineering business in Chelmsford, Essex, developing advanced electronic systems used across aerospace, medical, and industrial applications. As production demand continues to grow, they are looking for a Production Engineer to support manufacturing, improve processes, and help transition new designs into stable, repeatable production. In this Production Engineer role, you will:
Support manufacturing and test activities, resolving technical issues on the line Carry out fault finding and root cause analysis to improve product performance Drive practical improvements to processes, cost, and manufacturability Support new product introduction, making sure designs are ready for efficient, scalable build The ideal Production Engineer will have:
Experience supporting manufacturing in an electromechanical or electronics environment A hands-on approach to problem solving, with strong fault-finding skills Understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacture principles An engineering degree or equivalent industry experience This is a strong opportunity to join a well-established engineering team based in Chelmsford, Essex, working on complex, high-reliability products, with the chance to influence how they are built and improved over time.
