Job SummaryWe are looking for an Electronics engineer with an interest in a wide range of disciplines. If you enjoy solving problems, working in a fast pace environment and working with a great team of people then.
You will provide technical support to equipment covering all areas of silicon wafer processing equipment, packaging, and testing. Lead and participate in equipment installations, improvements, and resolve underlying equipment issues. This equipment is housed within three clean areas requiring full gowning.
This is a multi-disciplined role where you work hands-on and gain experience with gases, chemicals, robotics, vacuum, electrical, and electronics.
We are looking for a team player who has excellent organizational skills and is able to manage their own time and workload efficiently.
The role may require wearing Self Contained Breathing Apparatus after passing a medical examination and receiving proper training.
Due to cleanroom working conditions, the wearing of makeup is not allowed, and smoking is not permitted within 4 hours before entering the cleanroom (non-smokers preferred).
Job Summary - Shift DetailsThis is a double day shift role: 06:00 to 14:00 / 13:30 to 21:30.
Detailed Description- Respond rapidly to equipment issues using your electronics knowledge and experience, ensuring timely repairs and providing clear progress updates to the production teams.
- Lead cross-functional teams within Teledyne and external engineers, recording actions and minutes of meetings on more complex issues as they arise.
- Perform complex preventive maintenance activities ensuring all health and safety requirements are adhered to.
- Undertake project work, including installing new equipment and equipment modifications, providing all necessary documentation and training to others.
- Produce all risk assessments for equipment and host/monitor contractors' review of their method statements and risk assessments, issuing permits to work.
- Educated with a minimum of HNC in electronics.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary role with a strong electronics skill set.
- Experience of working in a cleanroom environment.
